Growing up I've always been nosey, eager to learn how the world works and to share that newfound knowledge with my peers. This made journalism a fitting choice, a way to bring that passion for people and storytelling together.
Kia Ora, My name is Hannah Feck. Originally from the small Manawatū town of Dannevirke, I moved to Ōtautahi Christchurch in 2024 excited to learn the craft from some of the countries best broadcasters.
And so far I've been lucky enough to cover some amazing stories at the New Zealand Broadcasting School. Highlights include covering the beginning stages of the South Library demolition, a proposal to cut speed limit changes in Sheffield, and investigating the School Lunch Collective fiasco - all building strong connections for the future.
I am confident with my Te reo pronunciation, with goals to delve even further in the near future.
