'Green Light' for new Lorde Music?

Kiwi musician Lorde has dropped 15 seconds of an unreleased song to social media, leaving fans wild with anticipation. 

The video, posted to TikTok, shows the singer walking through New York's Washington Square Park to the new track which resembles the vibe of her 2017 album 'Melodrama'.

"Since I was 17 I gave you everything," she sings.

"Now we wake from a dream, oh baby what was that, what was that." 

The singer wiped her social media blank over the weekend, suggesting a big announcement could be on the way. 

She removed all Instagram posts and changed her profile image to a photo of her drink bottle, as well as disabling her website. 

This morning (NZT) she shared a screenshot to her story of a fan saying "WAIT WHAT?????", summarising exactly how many fans were feeling. 

Lorde has not released an album since her 2021 album 'Solar Power', but has kept herself busy with features on Charli XCX's recent album 'Brat and it's completely different but also still brat'.

There is no word of a release date yet, but more clues are expected in the coming days.
