My passion for journalism began when I was 7, I was the only one in my year given a speaking role in a play. This 'set the stage' for my journalism career.
As I grew older, I explored speeches, media studies, film, and acting, thriving on the adrenaline of public speaking. After a year at UC studying media and communications, I joined Ara's journalism programme and haven't looked back.
Hands-on experience in radio, court reporting, TV, and interviewing families impacted by the mosque attack for Plains.FM has reinforced my commitment to this field. I'm excited to delve deeper into journalism!
Note:
- My Te Reo speaking/reading skills are great, but my understanding is moderate
