Following his 2021 "Call Me If You Get Lost" tour, Tyler the Creator will be back, showcasing his new album, Chromokopia, that dropped on October 28. Rumours swirl that the album will feature collaborations with heavyweights like Daniel Caesar, and Frank Ocean, who has been on hiatus since 2016- raising the excitement levels among fans.
While many are thrilled at the prospect of seeing Tyler live, some are concerned about ticket prices, especially with a lineup of other major artists hitting the scene. Some fans worry that they may have to pick and choose. Major acts such as Metallica, Dragon, Travis Scott, Hozier, and the Laneways holy trinity Charli XCX, Beabadoobee, and Clairo are making their way to the Land of the Long White Cloud.
Facebook commentors took to the announcement posts stating,
“If Pharrell and Ye had a baby, it would be Tyler,” perfectly encapsulating Tyler's unique blend of creativity and influence.
Some shared a more cautionary perspective: “I hear a lot of cursing. Sorry, I guess I’m getting old.”
Interestingly, Tyler was once banned from entering New Zealand, alongside Eminem, due to concerns about the potential risk to public safety. Yet, his return has sparked a renewed interest in his work and impact.
