Hello!

My name is Alex Colenso and I'm a journalist student at the NZBS.

I've grown up playing rugby, so have a real passion on talking reporting on anything league and union. Although I am interested in almost anything sport. 

I grew up rurally in Christchurch and found an appreciation for the news early and sports commentary early on. I decided to study here at the NZBS and pursue a career in this field because it gives me the opportunity to combine two of my favourite things, writing and sport.

I have enjoyed diving into some different kinds of media and reporting on different things throughout this course and this is something I look to continue working on.
