Stars Align follows Chloe, a depressed teenager who misses her friend Lucy dearly. As she picks up a photo of them, Lucy appears behind Chloe, relaxing on her bed. Her presence brings an instant upgrade of colour back into Chloe's dark, lifeless room. To celebrate their reunion, they embark on a spontaneous adventure around the city.
This music video was made without the aid of a crew. I did this to explore the limitations many filmmakers faced during harsh COVID-19 lockdown restrictions in 2020. My findings concluded that although filming without a crew is a viable alternative during Lockdown, Solo Filmmaking comes with severe limitations of what you can accomplish.
