Police seeking information after fatal Timaru crash

Two people were killed and another flown to hospital in a serious condition after a station-wagon and a truck collided on State Highway One, north of Timaru yesterday. 

Emergency services arrived at the scene at 5:10pm.

Police say another crash happened further up the road, which caused traffic to back up before the fatal crash. Anyone who saw either crash is asked to contact police.
