Christchurch's biggest bouldering gym opens

No need for ropes, harnesses, or complicated gear. Boulderers rely solely on climbing shoes, a chalk bag, and safety mats as they climb short but challenging routes.  

Since the sport made its Olympic debut in 2020, the demand for bouldering facilities has skyrocketed. In response to this growing interest, Boulder Co. opened the doors to its new branch in Christchurch over the weekend.
