IHF Health Club will be located on Level One of The Crossing  Hannah Powell

New gym to offer PRAMA training that combines music, mood lighting, videos, interactive flooring and HIIT.

Iron Hood Fitness has been located on Manchester St since 2016.

Promoting a "boutique and exclusive" approach to exercise, Iron Hood features elite cardio, weight, and strength equipment, as well as a popular in-house smoothie bar.

The gym is moving to The Crossing on Colombo St and rebranding to IHF Health Club. The new space will be four times the size of the Manchester St premises and will for the first time offer group classes to its members in the new space. This will include yoga and PRAMA.

Iron Hood Fitness operations manager Crystal O'Brien said she was excited to introduce PRAMA to Iron Hood’s new program. Designed as a group fitness class with four different types of training, PRAMA is a circuit training programme that combines music, mood lighting, videos, interactive flooring and HIIT.

"There are different variations of group classes to suit each individual," O'Brien said.

IHF Health Club facilities will include more than 1200 sqm of space, a sauna and plunge pool, and 24/7 access and parking. It will have a members' lounge and a full kitchen offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Complimentary snacks, beverages, towels and toiletries will also be available.

Iron Hood Fitness will relocate and rename under IHF Health Club once the club opens. The original gym will close down.

Iron Hood Fitness Team member Margarita Dukaleva said the official opening date for IHF Health Club was yet to be confirmed because of shipping delays. But, she was hoping for the end of the month.
