If there's one thing I want to do in life, it's to write well. 

For the last four years I've been writing features, profiles, news stories and scripts for student magazines and Metro News.

Beginning with Tearaway, Salient magazine, and now with Yo Vocal, I love to write about music, culture, lifestyle, and entertainment.

With a knack for interviewing and experience on the radio and in film, I love to connect with people and tell their stories across a variety of platforms. 

Being editor for Waha Kōrero and music editor for Yo Vocal, I've gained skills in professional communication, structure and editing, and creating a solid contact base (especially in the music industry). My previous study in filmmaking has taught me how to tell a visual story - a skill now needed when going into multimedia.

With Broadcasting School, I've learned how to write tight, bright, and concise. The time spent here has been invaluable for my development. The foundational skills I have learned will undoubtedly be applied to everything I do in my career. 

Here's to now and the next step, I'm ready for it.
