Tommy Flavill

Kia Ora, I'm Tommy Flavill.

I’m very much a people person. I am driven, creative, and passionate about journalism. Having both played and coached sport for much of my life, becoming a sports journalist is something I've dreamt of doing for many years.

My ultimate goal would be to report on some of New Zealand's biggest sporting events and the skills I’ve learned at the Broadcasting School will go a long way in helping me achieve that goal.

My quick-thinking and fast-paced writing skills, my love for sport, my optimism, and my ability to be able to engage with people of all walks of life, are some of the strengths I’m able to contribute. I very much look forward to bringing these skills and my leadership experience to your newsroom.
