Mitchell Farr

Hi, my name is Mitchell Farr a second-year Radio student at The New Zealand Broadcasting School. I love all things to do with storytelling and entertainment, from commercial radio to podcasting, having a chat, spinning a yarn, chewing the fat and or your ear off.

I am constantly looking to learn and expand my skill set in all fields of broadcasting. My confidence, independence and collaborative skills would make me an asset to any organisation looking to take on an eager and open-minded intern.

She'll Be Right!

I was contracted by RNZ to produce this podcast as part of their 'Generation Covid' series, exploring young kiwis experiences in 2020. I produced, voiced and edited this podcast

Does a Lawn Mower Sound Male?

This podcast that I helped produce, voice and edit explores how different sounds can target specific genders in radio advertising. This was used in a class project and then by RNZ on their platforms.

Busking for Coin, In Need of Change

This piece of audio is a story told in three minutes using as little dialogue as possible. A soundscape telling a tragic tale. All audio was recorded and compiled by Will Druzianic and Mitchell Farr.
