Kia Ora!

Since I can remember I have always had a keen interest in the creative process of film and television production.

During my studies, I have seized all opportunities to explore my desire for creative storytelling, through roles such as writer, director, and cinematographer. I find it rewarding to be able to evoke emotions through the narrative form of film. Art department and social media are also things that I have discovered an interest for during my studies at NZBS. I enjoy collaborating and producing quality content to set deadlines.

Throughout my time at the Broadcasting school, I have definitely learnt to manage my time efficiently whilst also being able to stay calm and collected under high-stress and high-pressure circumstances. I have also acquired the ability to step up and be a leader, but I am equally as happy to roll up my sleeves and get things done.

I am keen to extend the bracket of my skills and continue to learn and grow, with every opportunity that comes my way.

Metro News (Social Media)

I got the opportunity to run the social media for Metro News as part of this I created a 6 part mini-series designed for Instagram.

Short Film: Intuition (Writer/Director)

Intuition is a short film I was lucky enough to both write and direct. I had a really cool experience working with actors while directing and this was definitely a highlight.

Rubbish Day (Script Writing)

This is a script I wrote for a two minute short film project, in the first year of our course. If you click the link it will take you to a copy.

Outside Broadcasting (Camera Operator)

I worked as a sideline camera operator for outside broadcasting of a high school basketball game. I was operating on the wide camera following the play around.
