To me, radio is an industry that combines all my passions into one, my love of everything musical, banter, and the technical side that brings them all into one unique career.

Having gained experience at Base FM in Auckland and RDU in Christchurch, where I am both an announcer and a DJ, I am now part of the dynamic duo hosting The Morning Mingle on Waves 96.1 from 9am to 12pm. Alongside my co-host Jade, we aim to deliver an upbeat and lighthearted yet interactive morning show to the people of Christchurch. I am confident in my conversational skills and on-air presence, which I believe are my strongest assets. With continuous practice, my aim is to refine and perfect my confident on-air voice into a polished and professional one.

A lot of my background in radio stems from audio production, and in my current role at Waves 96.1 doing audio imaging i aim to  continue to further my skills in the field. I have been working in depth with Pro tools, bringing my knowledge of production, multitrack mixing, voicing direction, and auditory / musical imaging to my ads, stings and promos. I am adept in, and am striving to move into higher levels of editing as I progress my skills.

Complimentary to these interests / skills I also have previous experience in founding / managing a station with 200k listeners at its peak, Silhouette - Beats Turning. This played electronic music and featured live DJs as well as ran live events both online and in partnership with venues. While this project is on the back-burner now and just plays music at the moment, it was a formulating time for me as I learned many of my current skills by trial and error through this project. It established my initial interest in radio and inspired me to pursue a career in radio.
