Kia Ora! Ko Ava tōku ingoa.
I've always been fascinated by the way stories can make a difference.
Whether it's bringing attention to important problems in society, sharing uplifting human experiences, or holding powerful people accountable, I have a great passion for the way journalism has the power to make change.
Throughout my academic journey to becoming a journalist, I've learnt that what motivates me is a strong commitment to honesty and fairness. I believe in reporting the facts without bias, giving people trustworthy information, and encouraging meaningful discussions.
Now, I'm ready to move forward in my career through a professional placement. I'm excited to work with experienced individuals, learn more, and bring my unique viewpoint to make impactful journalism.
