After two years working in a whisky bar and talking to people across the counter, I developed an interest in real people and their stories. I've loved seeing broadcast journalism change over the years to become increasingly cross-platform and, while I don't have a specific medium that I prefer to write for yet, I've really enjoyed creating online and video content. I grew up listening to Radio New Zealand, so it has been fascinating learning how to write and report for radio too.
