Working on this project came with a lot of fun and a lot of challenges. Because the song was so intense, the artist and I felt the visual aspect also had to match this. Once we figured out the vision, I worked closely with my director of photography and art director to really push the style and look of the video, trying to tell the story of the song as visually as we could while trying to keep it abstract like the artist wanted. My editors and I then worked hard to enhance the visuals and edit the video in a way that depicts the story.
I loved getting to collaborate with my team and really push ourselves, as well as getting the opportunity to direct such great talent.
