The Easter bunny has been and gone and with him so have the wild rabbits said to have been seen hopping around Manchester street.
Companies, residents and building sites around Manchester Street however claim they have never seen these rabbits themselves.
Cultivation Christchurch who run an urban farm on the corner of Manchester Street and Peterborough Street have said they have seen no rabbits eating the crops or even anywhere near their garden.
An adjacent building site also said they have seen nothing of the kind either.
This intrepid reporter will not be deterred, however, and will be out hunting for sightings over coming days. Elmer Fudd, eat your heart out.
