The Warriors travel to Canberra to take on the Raiders on Saturday

Former Kiwi rugby league coach Frank Endacott says it is a very encouraging start to the season for the Warriors. He says they need to continue playing how they are because the current processes are working well.

"If they can pick up a win against the Raiders which is a 50/50 chance it will be the best start to our season ever," Endacott said.

The Warriors are coming off two victories over the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Gold Coast Titans.

The New Zealand side travel to Canberra to take on the Raiders who have had two losses against the Gold Coast Titans and the Newcastle Knights.

"I saw some real flaws in the Canberra right-hand defense, I would say they will work to the right side to the paddock then ship the ball and have ago at that right side of Canberra because there is certainly is a weakness. They have to continue what they are doing because obviously it is working," Endacott said.

He also praised Blake Green's inclusion into the team saying he compliments Shaun Johson well.

"Green has been paramount in the performance of Johnson, he has taken a lot of pressure of Shaun Johnson which has allowed him to play his natural game," Endacott said.

The game kicks off on Saturday at 5pm in Canberra at GIO Stadium.
