Student Magazine: Waha Kōrero (Writer)

Cole Yeoman

I've also spent the last year writing for Ara Institute of Canterbury's student magazine, Waha Kōrero. Check out some of the issues below:

Waha Kōrero - Issue 24

I contributed two articles to this issue. On page 10 I visited the Treaty Grounds on Waitangi Day and asked people what Te Tiriti o Waitangi means to them, and on page 14 I visited a range of Ōtautahi bakeries and cafes to review their custard squares.

Waha Kōrero - Issue 25

I contributed two articles to this issue. On page 7 I summarized the history of Aotearoa's flags, and on page 14 I reviewed the best cheese scones near Ara's city campus.

Waha Kōrero - Issue 26

I contributed two articles to this issue. On page 3 I explored some of Canterbury's Hidden Gems and best spots for adventure, and on page 6 and 7 I created a guide to making social change in our broken world.

Waha Kōrero - Issue 27

I contributed two articles to this issue. On page 11 I created a comedic guide to handshakes (and other associated gestures), and on page 14 I reviewed a selection of food on offer at Ara's Visions Pantry.
