An abandoned house in the mid-Canterbury town has burned down in a fire.
Emergency services were called at about 8.40pm on Tuesday.
This follows last week's incident of a deliberately lit fire at an address less than a kilometre away on Cambridge St.
Three fire trucks and two supporting vehicles attended to the scene.
A Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said the the house was "beyond repair".
There were no reports of injuries.
A police spokesperson said the fire may have been deliberate, but "enquiries are ongoing".
