Antoinette Spicer looks at the alternative nightlife scene in Christchurch, as well as the latest surge in face masks

In August, the Government announced it would be compulsory to wear face masks on public transport, following months of campaigning by health experts. Antoinette Spicer reports the latest.

A group of artists are using body paint, fire dancing and yoga in an attempt to tackle binge drinking. 

The group, known as ‘Mary Hush’ throw themed parties inspired from Berlins nightlife where it’s common for clubs to combine DJ sets and interactive arts. 

Antoinette Spicer joined them for a night like no other.
