Digby looks into the new Metro Sports Facilities Aquatic Sensory Experience room, and what it'll bring for the disability community. As well as taking a look into the threat Whitebait currently face.

The new Metro Sports Facility is set to open in 2022, after Covid delayed opening this year, and it will house a New Zealand first Aquatic Sensory Experience room.

Digby speaks with Christchurch Deputy Mayor Andrew Turner about the opportunities this will bring, as well as speaking to other experts in the disability sector.

It might come as a surprise that one of New Zealand’s national delicacies is made up of threatened species.

All but one of the species are now regarded as either at risk or threatened with extinction. Digby finds out more on the issue.
