Parklands house fire started in the kitchen

Three fire trucks attend fire in the early hours of the morning.

Fire services were called to a fire at a house on Bluestone Drive in Parklands at 2.47am. 

A Fire Service spokesperson said the fire started in the kitchen and the roof of the house was smoke-logged. The cause 

Three fire engines attended the fire, which was put out within an hour.

It was confined to the ceiling, and took up a couple of square metres in the kitchen.

There were no injuries and minimal damage to the house.
