Two new cases one new probable case

Director-General of Health, Dr Ashley Bloomfield, has confirmed two new cases and one new probable case of Covid-19.

The new national total of cases, both confirmed and probable, is 1472. 

There are no additional deaths to report.

New Zealand's total number of confirmed cases is 1124. This number is what is reported to the World Health Organisation.

Yesterday there were 2,146 Covid-19 tests processed around the country, bringing the combined total number of tests to 126,066.

Of the country's confirmed cases, 1,214 have recovered. They have been symptom-free for at least 48 hours and 10 days since their onset of symptoms.

82 percent of cases have recovered.

Today there are nine people in hospital with one in ICU at Middlemore Hospital.

There are still 16 significant clusters around the country, of at least 10 or more people.
