LemonRidge, the newest band to hit your airwaves with the sweet sounds of reggae surf rock.

The group of four - Regan Topp, Jordan Bradley, Liam Marsh and Jake Macham got together thanks to well-known Christchurch band Lunar Intruder who had them open for one of their shows playing at the Church. LemonRidge had exactly 1 month to get together, find their sound and come up with a 30-minute set list of new music.

“I didn’t even know any these guys played instruments”

This was only the start for them, since then they have been working hard to create a name for themselves along with a range of original music landing on streaming platforms.

One piece, their first ever single ‘Anywhere’ hit over 12 thousand streams which was a great steppingstone before being able to release their brand-new EP ‘say so’ which dropped at the end of October.

Although being relatively new to the music scene LemonRidge seems to have no limits. To prove that they don’t shy away from a challenge and have what it takes to go pro they have managed to work their way into the line for popular New Year's festival, Rolling Meadows 2024.

“Being a local band, we would just love to play for such a local event”.
Regan / Vocals / Guitar

To secure a spot in the line up they called upon their growing fanbase to tag them in a bunch of social media posts made by the festival. They then wrote a series of messages to the organisers until they got an email back with the good news.

Before the big festival debut LemonRidge will be working hard to secure as many local gigs as possible to build up reputation and sharpen their live performance skills.

“We have come a long way as a band, learnt a lot”
Liam / Drummer
