MetroNews 2023 (Director)

I was one of two studio directors for the 2023 run of MetroNews, a news show run by screen and journalism students here at NZBS. This was a highly challenging role, pushing me to expand a lot of my skills such as leadership, problem-solving, time management and working well under pressure. I directed 5 of 10 shows, with two in this article being from live week and one that includes a directors day in the life of myself and Sam the other director. I greatly enjoyed my time as a multi-camera director and hope to try it again one day.
