Man pleads not guilty to stealing 50 Lime scooters

The man, whose identity is suppressed for now, has pleaded not guilty to stealing $37,500 worth of the e-scooters.

Police say the e-scooter thefts happened over a period of four months from January to May.

The accused man pleaded not guilty before Judge Emma Smith in the Christchurch District Court today.

Name suppression continues for the 37-year-old man, who was remanded on bail until October 3 for a case review hearing.
