The pool complex is proposed to be located on the corner of Linwood Ave and Smith St.
The location was finalised by the Linwood-Central-Heathcote community board on May 16 last year after consultation with the local community.
Board chair Sally Buck said the project was going well.
"We have had a seminar to get our feedback but there will be a meeting on May 22, after which the final plans will be made public," Buck said.
Once the plans have been approved the project will go out for tender to be awarded to a contractor to build. Construction is expected to begin in 2020.

• 25 metre lane swimming pool
• Family spa pool
• Learn-to-swim pool
• Toddlers pool
• Water deck next to the toddler pool
The new facility will also have rooms for community meetings.
