The Silver Ferns are focusing on getting the small things right ahead of England match up, says captain.

New Zealand face England locked up 1-1 with the Taini Jamison trophy on the line in Hamilton at 7.45pm on Wednesday.

The Ferns comfortably beat England in game one, but lost 49-46 on Sunday.

England's fast-ball movement and defensive pressure choked the Ferns offense.

Captain Katrina Grant said the Ferns would not change much of their play despite losing.

"It's just really little things we need to tweak, that if we work on it'll be easier for us on Wednesday.

"We just need to play our game, we know what works for us and work with our strengths.''

She said there was nothing better than playing in a decider.

This will likely be the last time the two sides meet before the Commonwealth games in Australia next year.
