Crusaders will look to start strong

A new look Crusaders team is hoping to start well against the Western Force tomorrow night at AMI stadium.

The Crusaders have had slow starts in the last two weeks, with some close 'come from behind' wins.

Coach Scott "Razor" Robinson  is hoping his team will start well against the Western Force, who have only won one game this season.

Robinson has made 7 changes to last weeks team that took on the Blues in a thriller.

Tim Bateman comes into the starting line up as center, he's returned to the Crusaders where his career started, after a long stint away.

"Keeping it simple first up and establishing what we want to initially achieve, is vital to a good start." said Bateman.

Flanker, Matt Todd who has this morning, re signed with the Crusaders and New Zealand Rugby until the end of 2018,  said "The Western Force will have a point to prove this weekend due to the uncertainty of their future in the Super Rugby."

The Western force are among the teams who are rumored to be axed from the competition next season.
