Crusaders confident despite injuries to key players

Ella Stokes

The Crusaders remain confident heading into this Friday's game although they are missing two key players.

Israel Dagg and Seta Tamanivalu were forced off the field last weekend in the game against the Reds in Brisbane due to leg injuries,  ruling them out of this week's match on Friday in Christchurch against the Blues.

Assistant coach Brad Mooar said the team had proved themselves by beating the Reds last weekend, without Dagg and Tamanivalu.

Mooar said this  week's game was shaping up to  be a good one.  He said the Blues and the Crusaders had a long history and their rivalry was  one of the best in the competition.

He said the Crusaders aimed to put everything together and  make the most of all the opportunities.
