Thompson-McPhail was reported missing at about 4.30pm on Sunday in the area of Cashmere Rd and Hackthorne Rd.
Several people posted on Facebook that they had seen the teenager around town.
Police would like to thank everyone who got in touch with them with information while she was missing.
