Weekly lunch break catch ups help to encourage entrepreneurs and innovation.

Coffee and Jam is a long-running weekly meet up in Christchurch for entrepreneurs run by the Ministry of Awesome at the Epic Innovation campus on Manchester St.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Coffee and Jam meet ups to be inspired, network and innovate.

Ministry of Awesome startup activator Jacob Varghese said technology was a great "enabler".

"Technology has provided a relief for some in Christchurch following the mosque attacks by making fundraising easier."

Varghese said tech companies had been working with the Muslim community to build database platforms to help with security.

As part of Techweek NZ, which is happening in Christchurch,  Sam Frost, a digital marketing consultant from Ace Digital Marketing, and Cerebral Fix general manger Nadia Thorne spoke at this week's Coffee and Jam.
