The competition consists of seven sides from around the country.
Rams American import Marcus Alipate said the team was looking forward to having a good year.
Alipate said last year the team made it to the top four and this year was looking forward to taking advantage of that and finishing on top.
He said the team aimed to play smart, play together, and have fun.
The Rams play their first game against the James Blond Supercity Rangers this Sunday in Auckland.
