Christchurch may have lost its Rugby World Cup games but it managed to hold on to the hosting rights for another important tournament. The National Ultimate Frisbee Tournament was held at Nunweek Park at the weekend where sixteen teams competed and tried to secure the coveted national title.

Nice catch by Aaron at the end there.
Love your work guys – this is some great footage
Horse breeders wish they had stock as studly as Lloyd
Some pretty awesome highlights shown in between the interviews. Would have been nice to see the focus on those, instead of talking over them the whole time…
A+ by the camera man
C- for the producer
Hi AMM,
I was the journalist for this story and produced it too. The whole point of a news story is to tell a story. In this instance, and the majority of others, you need interviews and voice-over (and a few other things) to do so. Otherwise, you end up with a montage of shots that don’t really tell any story at all.
The focus of this story was on the tournament, not me, so I’m sorry if you interpreted it any other way.
I will pass on your A+ mark to the Camera Operator who actually was a woman, not a man.
If you would like a copy of the raw footage, feel free to contact Mitch, the Executive Producer on 027 471 4303 or fill out the contact form: http://metronews.co.nz/contact-us/
I am your biggest fan. Your voice is very soft and smooth, it sends shivers down my spine. Seriously.
